Mind + Gut: We know they’re connected, but how?

We loved seeing our client Mind + Gut Clinic featured in The Age and Sydney Morning Herald. Congrats!

Nearly 3 million Australians suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), often with little relief from traditional treatments. Dr Simone Peters, a leader in gut-brain therapies, is pioneering a new approach that combines cognitive behavioural therapy, stress reduction strategies and hypnotherapy.

Dr Peters co-developed an app, Nerva, which delivers daily hypnotherapy sessions over six weeks to IBS sufferers. A study conducted by Monash University found that 64% of IBS patients using the app experienced significant symptom relief. That’s a big tick for Nerva.

We recently helped Dr Peters to register her trade mark, MIND + GUT. This included successfully fending off an opposition to the trade mark application.

We are incredibly proud to represent Dr Peters, whose work makes the lives of everyday Australians that much more comfortable.
